VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives

The VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series is a compact line of Danfoss frequency converters designed to provide variable-speed control for standard three-phase asynchronous (induction) motors, while accepting both single-phase and three-phase low-voltage supplies. The range spans from fractional-kilowatt outputs up to 18.5 kW, with versions available for 200-240 V and 380-480 V mains to match differing installation demands. Standard models are supplied in IP20 enclosures, with options for higher enclosure ratings, integrated braking capability, and built-in RFI filters to ease panel integration and support EMC compliance. Setup and operation are handled through an integral control unit with LED status indicators, and an optional remote LCP 2 panel adds a multi-line alphanumeric display for advanced commissioning and monitoring. Communication includes RS-485 serial connectivity, with optional interfaces for Profibus and DeviceNet, enabling seamless motor control and system-level integration in industrial environments.
