The 134H2374 is a variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. This AC power module controls the speed of three-phase induction motors used in general process automation, where stable motor control is needed for repeatable machine operation. By regulating output frequency, it allows precise adjustment of pump, fan, or conveyor speed, which can reduce unnecessary energy use and help the driven equipment match process demand more closely. It is intended for mounting in electrical panels where space is limited, so a compact drive layout is useful in crowded control cabinets.
Electrical input flexibility covers 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz on a three-phase supply. At the motor terminals, the converter can deliver 1.5 kW, which corresponds to 2.0 HP of mechanical output. Internal parameterization is handled through the built-in SLCP display, allowing local adjustment of operating values without extra hardware. System integration with higher-level controllers is possible through the Profibus DP 12 MBaud fieldbus option, which supports data exchange with plant automation networks. The unit comes without an additional application option, so control logic can remain in the external automation system. Its predefined Process profile uses settings suited to continuous-duty industrial loads such as pumps, fans, and conveyors.
The drive uses the compact Bookstyle enclosure, which fits dense control cabinets and carries an IP20 protection rating against finger contact and settled dust. A factory-applied protective coating shields circuit boards from humidity and airborne contaminants, helping the electronics remain stable in indoor industrial environments. Electromagnetic compliance is supported by the built-in EN 55011 Class A1 RFI filter, so the drive can be installed on industrial mains with reduced conducted interference. The standard hardware configuration also includes an integrated braking transistor to manage regenerated energy during rapid deceleration. This feature is useful when the motor is slowing a load that can feed energy back into the drive during stopping.
