The 195N1045 is an AC drive manufactured by Danfoss and delivered as part of the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. The unit controls induction motors in process lines, allowing speed adjustment and energy savings in conveyor, pump, or fan stages. Its compact design simplifies integration into control cabinets and supports decentralized variable-speed regulation without adding external motion hardware. By adjusting motor speed to match changing process demand, it supports stable operation where load conditions vary throughout the duty cycle.

The drive supplies a continuous mechanical output of 2.0 HP, equivalent to an electrical rating of 1.5 kW, giving suitable capacity for small-to-mid power motors used in mixing or conveying duties. It accepts a mains input of 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz on a three-phase network, so it can be connected directly to common industrial bus bars without a transformer. This input range supports standard industrial supplies used in many production facilities. Communication with supervisory controllers is available through the built-in DeviceNet port, allowing control and status exchange without a separate fieldbus card. The enclosure is rated IP20, so the drive must be installed inside another cabinet. The model is intended for general process duty and is supplied without an application option card.

Mechanical layout follows the Bookstyle format, allowing several units to mount side by side with minimal clearance while maintaining airflow across the heat sink. Parameter entry and status viewing are handled from the front-mounted built-in display (SLCP), which allows local access to operating values and settings without a remote keypad. Front access also helps when the drive is mounted in a densely packed cabinet row. To suit installations that already use external line chokes or filters, the drive ships without an EMC filter, so conducted emissions must be treated at the cabinet level if required. The electronics are supplied without coating, so a clean, dry control environment is necessary.
