The 195N1136 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It is designed for three-phase induction motors used in process automation. The unit regulates motor speed to match load requirements, improving energy use and reducing mechanical stress in conveyors, mixers, and pump skids found across dedicated process lines. This operating approach helps the motor follow process demand instead of running at a fixed line frequency. In this role, it supports variable-speed operation in equipment that does not need a constant motor speed.

It delivers a continuous output of 18.5 kW, equivalent to 25 HP, so it suits medium-power machinery. The mains terminal accepts 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz from a three-phase supply, allowing direct connection to common low-voltage networks. Its open-chassis protection level is IP20, offering basic finger safety when the drive is installed inside a control cabinet. Because there is no application option and no fieldbus option, control is handled by conventional I/O, while external communication cards can be added later if needed. This keeps the base configuration focused on standard control functions. An integrated cable-length-dependent RFI filter keeps conducted emissions within A1 or B limits when longer motor leads are used.

The front panel uses a built-in display (SLCP) for local parameter access, even though specialized application software is not preinstalled. Local access through the panel keeps routine parameter review at the drive itself during normal operation. A slim Bookstyle housing allows dense side-by-side mounting, which helps conserve panel width in multi-drive cabinets. The enclosure is supplied without a coating, which limits placement to clean, dry control rooms. The drive comes standard with an integrated brake chopper for rapid deceleration on high-inertia loads.
