The 195N1018 is a low-voltage AC drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. This book-style controller modulates the frequency and voltage applied to induction motors so speed and torque can be matched to process demand. In automated lines, the unit is installed inside electrical panels where it regulates pumps, fans, and conveyors while exchanging control signals with PLC-based systems. Variable-speed control helps reduce abrupt starts, improves adjustment of flow or conveying speed, and lets the connected motor follow changing load conditions more smoothly during routine operation. This makes it suitable for applications where motor demand changes throughout the operating cycle.

This drive supplies a continuous output of 0.75 kW, which is equivalent to 1.0 HP. It accepts a mains range of 380-480 V on a three-phase supply at 50/60 Hz, so the same unit can be used on common industrial feeders. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, which means the drive should be mounted inside a suitable cabinet rather than exposed directly on the machine. No dedicated application option is installed, and the unit is arranged for general process operation. A factory-mounted brake circuit and thermal cutouts support controlled deceleration and monitor the power module during normal service.

Mechanical packaging follows the Bookstyle format, so multiple drives can be arranged closely in a narrow panel. Parameter access is through a built-in display that uses the SLCP keypad for startup tasks, status checks, and fault readouts without requiring a separate local operator station. The power stage is supplied standard with brake, helping the drive manage deceleration of connected motors when the application needs faster speed reduction. The unit carries no EMC filter, so installations that must meet conducted-emission limits need external RFI suppression. Circuit boards without coating are better suited to clean, low-humidity cabinet environments.
