The 195N1028 is a variable speed drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It is intended for process applications where closed-loop control of three-phase induction motors is required. By converting fixed mains power to a variable output frequency, the drive enables accurate speed regulation on pumps, mixers, and conveyor modules commonly found in automated manufacturing cells. This type of control helps maintain stable motor behavior when process demand changes during operation.

The drive delivers a continuous motor output of 1.1 kW, equivalent to 1.5 HP, letting it cover small to medium duty shafts. Its input supply window is 380-480 V ± 10% 50/60 Hz on a three-phase network, so the control electronics remain stable even with typical plant voltage swings. This voltage tolerance helps the unit operate reliably on feeders with normal supply variation. The narrow Bookstyle housing minimizes panel width and allows side-by-side mounting without derating. For personnel and component safety, the drive has an IP20 protection level, making it suitable for installation inside a ventilated electrical enclosure. Its compact shape is useful where several drives must fit on the same back panel.

The control platform is delivered with no application option and without a fieldbus interface, so parameter adjustment is performed directly through the built-in display (SLCP). Line-side noise is attenuated by the integrated RFI filter that meets EN 55011 Class A1, enabling compliance on industrial power grids. The power section has a standard with brake configuration, allowing quick motor stops during deceleration cycles.
