The 195N1001 AC variable frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It converts constant mains power into variable voltage and frequency output, enabling precise speed control of induction motors in light-duty industrial automation. By matching motor speed to real-time load demands, the drive supports energy savings and reduces mechanical wear on pumps, fans, and small conveyors used in distributed process skids and machine panels. This operating method can also reduce abrupt starts and help maintain steadier motor response during routine speed changes.

At its core, the drive supplies a continuous motor output of 0.55 kW, making it suitable for fractional-kilowatt pumps, augers, and other compact motor loads. It is also rated at 0.75 HP, which helps when older motor documentation uses horsepower instead of kilowatts. The unit accepts an input of 380-480 V ± 10% 50/60 Hz, and its three-phase supply helps balance current draw and minimize harmonic distortion on industrial feeders. The drive is intended for Process applications, providing predefined ramp times and PID functions suited to flow and pressure loops in basic automation systems. With no application or fieldbus options fitted and no protective coating on the circuit boards, the standard hardware configuration is intended for clean electrical rooms with controlled ambient conditions.
