The 195N1015 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It integrates induction motors into process automation by altering supply frequency and voltage, enabling soft starts and controlled speed ramps that reduce mechanical stress and energy consumption. The unit is installed between a three-phase supply and the motor, allowing plant controllers to maintain flow, pressure, or conveyor speed through precise electrical modulation in pumps, fans, conveyors, and similar automated equipment.

It delivers a mechanical output of 1.0 HP, equivalent to an electrical rating of 0.75 kW. The inverter accepts line input in the range of 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz, so it remains stable on industrial feeders subject to modest voltage variation. Internally, it rectifies the incoming three-phase supply and reconstructs a variable-frequency waveform that determines motor speed. The housing carries an IP20 protection rating, so it must be mounted inside an electrical enclosure while still providing protection against accidental finger contact. An integral RFI filter limits conducted emissions to EN 55011 Class A1, which helps the drive fit common industrial control installations.

The mechanical layout follows the narrow Bookstyle format, letting the drive stack tightly with other modules and conserve panel width. Operators interact through a built-in display (SLCP) that reports speed, current, and diagnostic codes without external tools. The control board has no application option installed, so it is arranged for general process use. The printed circuit boards are supplied without coating, so humidity and airborne contaminants must be controlled inside the enclosure. This layout keeps the unit compact while still allowing local status checks during normal operation.
