The 195N1037 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Designed for induction motors in continuous-flow production lines, the unit modulates output frequency so that pump, fan, or conveyor speed follows changing process demand. This allows the motor to run only as fast as the application requires instead of remaining at full line frequency. In flow-based systems, smoother speed regulation can reduce abrupt starts and help keep process conditions more consistent as the load changes. Its compact footprint also allows installation inside crowded machine panels.

The drive connects to plant power through a mains window of 380-480 V ±10 % 50/60 Hz, which helps the inverter remain stable during normal utility fluctuations. It is engineered for a three-phase supply, enabling balanced current draw compared with single-phase installations. Motor capacity is limited by a continuous power rating of 1.5 kW, which corresponds to 2.0 HP of mechanical output. The front cover carries a protection rating of IP20, so the controller should be mounted in a clean electrical cabinet rather than in an exposed location. Cabinet installation also helps limit accidental contact with live sections and reduces the chance of dust collecting around the terminals.

The mechanical format follows the Danfoss Bookstyle concept, letting multiple modules share a common busbar while minimizing panel width. A built-in display (SLCP) permits local parameter entry and operating status review without an external keypad. The drive is delivered in Standard configuration, and the narrow housing format helps when several drives must be arranged side by side in a limited section of the enclosure. Because the unit ships without an EMC filter, an external RFI solution is required when emissions limits apply. It does not include a fieldbus board or conformal coating, and it is intended for process applications.
