The 195N1003 is a three-phase AC drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Intended for process applications, the drive converts fixed mains power into a variable frequency output so that motor speed follows the requirements of pumps, mixers, or conveyors. Its book-style enclosure and SLCP front display allow placement in narrow switchgear columns while giving operators direct access to operating data and parameter settings at the front of the unit.

The drive delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.55 kW, equivalent to 0.75 HP, making it suitable for small-frame induction motors that require energy-efficient speed regulation. Input supply can vary between 380-480 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz without derating, and it draws current on all three conductors to keep phase loading balanced. A protection rating of IP20 indicates that fingers and solid objects larger than 12 mm are guarded, though a separate cabinet is needed for water-spray areas. Under nominal load, the power factor reaches 0.90, reducing reactive power penalties on the service transformer. The standard configuration omits application-specific and fieldbus cards, relying instead on hardwired I/O and the local keypad for start, stop, and reference commands.

Cabinet integration is helped by a footprint that is only 75 mm wide, 200 mm high, and 168 mm deep, allowing multiple drives to be arranged side by side with minimal air gap. The internal RFI network meets EN 55011 Class A1 emission limits, so additional line filters are generally unnecessary in industrial zones. The drive has no application option or fieldbus option, and it does not use conformal coating, so the hardware configuration remains straightforward while supporting typical process-control requirements for accuracy, menu-based setup, and stable motor performance.
