The 195N1027 is a low-voltage AC drive produced by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It controls the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors used in pumps, blowers, and mixers. By adjusting output frequency, the drive lets the motor match changing process demand instead of running at a fixed speed. This helps reduce energy use and can also limit mechanical stress on connected equipment. In a typical setup, it receives mains power at the input and supplies a variable-frequency output to the motor, allowing smoother control during startup, running, and speed changes.

The unit connects directly to mains circuits rated at 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz and is intended for three-phase supply lines. Its inverter section provides a continuous output of 1.1 kW, which corresponds to 1.5 HP for small motor loads. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the drive is intended for installation inside a protective cabinet when dust or moisture is present. This arrangement suits indoor control panels where supply power, motor wiring, and protection components are grouped in one location. Balanced input power also supports stable operation in standard industrial distribution systems.

The drive uses a book-style housing, which helps save panel width when several units are mounted side by side. A built-in display (SLCP) shows status information, fault codes, and parameter numbers on the front. The front display also allows quick local review of operating values and stored alarms without extra interface hardware. Conducted emissions are limited by the integrated EN 55011 Class A1 RFI filter for industrial installations with radio-noise requirements. The intended application is process duty, so the drive is suited to flow-control loops. The circuit boards are not coated, so the installation area should be kept away from high moisture and corrosive vapors.
