This controller adjusts the frequency and voltage supplied to a three-phase induction motor, allowing pumps, fans, and conveyor equipment in automated plants to match process demand instead of running at full speed all the time. It integrates power semiconductors, control electronics, and a local operator interface into a narrow housing that mounts on DIN rail or backplate. Because the output is regulated electronically, the motor can start and run with smoother speed control than a fixed-frequency connection. That compact layout helps it fit control cabinets where multiple motor circuits must be arranged in limited space.

In operation, the drive accepts a three-phase input between 200-240 V AC and supports motors up to 2.0 HP. The inverter is rated at 1.5 kW, which suits light machinery zones and general-purpose motor control tasks in smaller process lines. A slender Bookstyle enclosure reduces panel width, while the IP20 housing requires installation inside a clean cabinet where accidental contact and airborne contamination are limited. The unit has no application option, fieldbus board, or RFI filter. The control face includes a Built In Display (SLCP) that shows operating status and allows direct parameter changes without external tools. The drive uses the Process profile, so its default behavior is aimed at constant-torque loads such as agitators and mixers rather than highly specialized motion tasks. Navigation follows the VLT menu structure, which keeps keypad operation straightforward when values need to be reviewed or adjusted at the cabinet door. The code 2800 identifies the product platform used for this model and places it within the same general control family as other VLT 2800 drives. Front access to the keypad is useful when the drive is mounted in a narrow row of controls.
