The 195N1023 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It regulates induction-motor speed on automated process equipment, helping plants match torque to load without mechanical throttling. By varying output frequency, the drive improves energy efficiency while maintaining steady throughput in conveyors, mixers, and auxiliary lines. Rated at 0.75 kW, equivalent to 1.0 HP, the unit accepts a 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz supply from a three-phase mains network. This input window permits stable operation on lightly regulated utility feeds as long as voltage stays within the stated tolerance. Power enters through an integrated RFI filter, and the inverter bridge is assembled without coating to support thermal transfer. The configuration is standard, and no application option is pre-installed, so network communication and motor control remain the primary integrated functions. A factory-mounted DeviceNet interface supports node-based control, diagnostics, and status polling over a single cable. Cooling air moves across a slender heat sink inside an IP20 enclosure, making the drive suitable for protected cabinets. The dedicated process profile supports pumps, agitators, and dosing screws on continuous lines.

Electromagnetic emissions are held within EN 55011 Class A1 limits, allowing the drive to share panels with sensitive instrumentation without extra line chokes. Speed, current, and fault codes appear on the built-in display (SLCP), which also provides local parameter editing when fieldbus access is unavailable. Thanks to the tall, narrow Bookstyle frame, multiple modules can mount side by side with minimal clearance, freeing space for contactors and relays. Its common parameter structure supports a consistent setup flow when similar drives are used on the same machine.
