As a drive controller, it modulates the supply to a three-phase induction motor so speed and torque align with process demands in automated machinery. The slim book-style housing places control and power terminals on the front edge, which helps when the unit is installed in narrow cabinets with limited side clearance. The unit uses a Standard hardware configuration, so no application-specific option module is included and the base control arrangement remains simple.
