The 195N1002 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. By varying the output frequency supplied to an induction motor, the unit enables speed regulation for conveyors, mixers, and other equipment used in automated plants. In factory settings that demand compact installations, this drive provides basic motor control without external option modules, making it a practical element for energy-efficient process automation.

Electrically, the drive accepts a mains supply of 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz, and it is designed for a three-phase network. Internally, it converts that input into a motor output capable of delivering 0.55 kW of continuous mechanical power, which corresponds to 0.75 HP when paired with the appropriate motor. The housing is rated IP20, which limits finger ingress but requires installation inside a control cabinet. Because the model is supplied without an EMC RFI filter and without coating, additional external filtering or enclosure treatment may be required when the installation calls for conducted emission control or added corrosion resistance.

From a mechanical and functional standpoint, the slim book-style format allows drives to be mounted side by side and cabled from the front, conserving panel width. A built-in display (SLCP) provides local parameter viewing, so voltage, current, and power values can be checked without auxiliary tools. For applications subject to panel vibration, the unit has passed a test level of 0.7 g, and its standard configuration with a brake supplies a dynamic brake switch for rapid motor deceleration.
