The 195N1043 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Classified under the VLT product group, it is intended to regulate standard induction motors used in automated process lines. By synthesizing variable output frequency and voltage, the unit enables closed-loop speed control, trims energy consumption, and lowers mechanical stress on connected equipment. Because it mounts directly inside motor-control-center panels, the drive provides compact speed regulation for conveyors, mixers, and auxiliary pumps that run continuously in industrial automation.

The drive accepts an input of 380-480 V with a ±10% tolerance at 50/60 Hz and delivers balanced power on a three-phase output bus. Its continuous motor capability is 1.5 kW, which corresponds to 2.0 HP, making it suitable for small constant-torque loads. Thermoplastic covers and an internal touch-safe bus give the assembly an IP20 protection rating, so it can be installed in enclosed switchgear without additional guarding. Conducted emissions are limited by an integral RFI filter that meets EN 55011 Class A1, helping maintain electromagnetic compatibility on plant feeders. These electrical limits, together with the standard current sensors, support motor-overload and under-voltage monitoring in the drive.

Housed in a narrow book-style chassis, the converter aligns flush with adjacent units to conserve panel width. Parameter entry and real-time status are available through the front-mounted built-in display (SLCP), eliminating the need for a detachable keypad during setup. The hardware configuration is standard, and the unit ships without an application option card, so specialized functions remain in the supervisory PLC. Printed-circuit assemblies are supplied without a protective coating, restricting use to clean electrical rooms. The default parameter set uses a process duty profile, matching the constant-torque characteristics demanded by agitators, centrifugal pumps, and general processing machinery.
