The 195N1105 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss and delivered within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It is engineered to modulate motor speed and torque for pumps, fans, and conveyors found in process-oriented industrial automation, allowing energy savings and tighter control of production variables. By adjusting output frequency and voltage, the drive lets connected motors match changing load demand instead of running at full speed continuously. It is commonly applied where airflow, fluid movement, or conveyor rate must follow a variable setpoint during normal operation.

This model accepts a mains supply of 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz, so it can be connected directly to common three-phase distribution panels without an external transformer. The input uses a three-phase line, which supports balanced power flow and reduced current per conductor compared with single-phase alternatives. Its output is rated at 7.5 kW, which corresponds to 10 HP on 460 V equipment. The enclosure has an IP20 protection class, so the drive is intended for installation inside a larger cabinet where people and internal components are shielded from incidental contact.

The drive uses a book-style format, allowing multiple units to be mounted side by side to conserve panel width. For plant networking, it can be ordered with the DeviceNet fieldbus option, which allows a PLC to exchange commands, status data, and fault information over a shared communication trunk. Local setup is handled through the built-in display (SLCP), which shows operating frequency, current, and diagnostic codes on the unit itself. The drive is supplied without an EMC filter, so external RFI suppression may be needed where conducted emissions limits apply, and the standard hardware has no special coating or dedicated application option.
