The 195N1031 is an AC variable speed drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It converts fixed mains power into controlled output frequency and voltage so induction motors can start smoothly, slow down, or accelerate in a controlled way. This supports stable motor operation in process plants and other industrial systems where speed control is needed during normal duty cycles. Because the output is adjustable, the control system can match motor speed to process demand instead of running continuously at full line frequency. It is suitable for applications that need adjustable motor speed without the abrupt current draw and mechanical shock associated with direct-on-line starting.

The drive has a continuous output power rating of 1.1 kW. It accepts 380-480 V AC at 50/60 Hz on a three-phase supply, and the stated ±10 percent tolerance allows operation where the incoming line voltage varies within a moderate range. This electrical range fits common industrial distribution systems and supports integration with standard induction motors in the drive's power class. A built-in display (SLCP) on the front panel shows speed, status, and fault information directly at the unit. The display also allows local review of operating conditions without separate external indication for basic status checks.
