This AC drive combines low-voltage power electronics with motor control functions so a fan, pump, or conveyor can be started, accelerated, and stopped without relying on mechanical throttling or direct-on-line switching. In process installations, it modulates motor speed to match flow or throughput to real-time demand, which helps keep operation stable when load conditions change. That behavior makes it suitable for general plant equipment that benefits from adjustable speed rather than fixed-speed operation.

The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 380-480 V ±10% at 50/60 Hz, allowing direct connection to common plant mains. Its motor output is rated at 0.55 kW. A factory-installed RFI filter meets EN 55011 Class A1 so conducted emissions stay within industrial limits on the power and control circuits. The enclosure is rated IP20, which helps protect live parts from accidental contact while leaving ventilation openings available for cooling. When fitted with the optional fieldbus board, networked control is available over Profibus DP 12 MBaud, enabling setpoint writing and status polling from a PLC. A built-in SLCP display provides local parameter access, and the power section is supplied without coating, so it should be used in clean, dry enclosures.

The mechanical layout follows the narrow Bookstyle format, which simplifies side-by-side mounting inside shallow panels while preserving the airflow path needed for cooling. The drive uses a standard with brake configuration, and the integrated brake chopper absorbs regenerated energy during rapid deceleration. Its output capability of 0.75 HP suits small centrifugal pumps used in continuous process duty. The control functions maintain proportional-integral regulation without an additional option card.
