The 195N0006 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. As a speed controller for three-phase induction motors, it is intended for basic process automation where closed-loop accuracy is not required. By adjusting output frequency, the unit allows pumps, fans, and conveyors to match load demand, which can reduce energy use and mechanical stress. Motor speed is regulated by varying the electrical frequency sent to the motor rather than by mechanical throttling or fixed-speed switching. It is suited to applications where stable speed adjustment matters more than servo-level positioning.

This model accepts a single- or three-phase input of 200-240 V AC, so it connects directly to common low-voltage utility networks without a transformer. The protection rating of IP20 means touch-safe openings are provided, but the drive still requires cabinet installation for protection against dust and liquids. Its book-style housing keeps width to a minimum, allowing several drives to mount side by side in densely populated panels. A built-in display (SLCP) on the front provides parameter access and basic status readout without an external keypad. The drive is standard with brake, so an internal brake chopper can work with an external resistor to absorb regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration.

The drive is supplied without an EMC filter, so external RFI suppression is needed where conducted-emission limits apply. The dedicated application is process duty, which suits proportional pressure, flow, or temperature control in industrial lines. Circuit boards are supplied without a protective coating, so the unit should be kept away from condensing humidity and corrosive vapors. The slot is delivered without an application option, leaving space for a later communication or analog expansion module if system needs change. That arrangement is often acceptable in clean indoor cabinets with separate noise-control hardware.
