The 195N1102 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss and supplied as part of the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. By modulating the output frequency delivered to an induction motor, it allows automated machines in continuous-flow process plants to adjust speed in response to load or recipe changes. This control method supports smoother starts, controlled deceleration, and speed trimming in equipment such as conveyors, pumps, and processing machinery. It is intended for process applications where compact dimensions and simple integration inside control cabinets are required.

It accepts a three-phase mains supply of 380-480 V ±10% at 50/60 Hz, allowing the inverter to accommodate typical utility fluctuations. Internally, the power section is rated for 7.5 kW, which corresponds to a motor shaft output of 10 HP at nominal conditions. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, which provides finger-safe protection but is not dust-tight. Because of that housing style, the drive is normally installed inside a suitable electrical cabinet rather than in exposed plant areas. Circuit boards are supplied without coating, and no dedicated application option is fitted, so the unit remains a general-purpose drive for standard cabinet environments.

The mechanical layout uses the Bookstyle format, allowing multiple drives to be mounted side by side while reducing required enclosure width. The unit uses standard hardware with a brake, so a built-in braking transistor can dissipate dynamic energy during motor deceleration. Local interaction is handled through a built-in display (SLCP), which provides status codes and parameter access at the drive. The front display allows operating values and parameter numbers to be viewed directly on the unit. An external line filter is required when electromagnetic compliance filtering is needed because the unit is supplied without an EMC filter.
