The 195N1044 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It regulates induction motor speed in industrial process equipment, helping the connected machine match output to changing demand while reducing unnecessary energy use. This type of control is useful in conveyors, mixers, and fan systems where fixed-speed operation can limit process flexibility. By adjusting output frequency and voltage together, the unit helps motors start and run with more controlled acceleration than a direct-on-line connection. Mounted in control cabinets, the drive fits into industrial motor circuits while keeping the panel footprint compact.

The drive's continuous output is rated at 1.5 kW, which is equivalent to 2.0 HP of shaft power. It accepts a supply of 380-480 V ±10 % 50/60 Hz, and the input must be three-phase for normal operation. An internal thermal sensor protects the power module, while the front cover has an IP20 rating that blocks objects larger than 12 mm, so the unit is intended for installation inside a cabinet. The factory configuration is standard with brake, which means an internal chopper can route regenerative energy to a braking resistor during deceleration. Conducted emissions are limited by the integral EN 55011 Class A1 filter, which supports installation on industrial power grids without extra line components. The slim housing also leaves room for wiring channels and neighboring devices in shallow enclosures.
