The 195N1029 is an AC variable frequency drive from Danfoss in the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. The unit modulates the supply frequency delivered to three-phase induction motors, making it suitable for process machinery that needs adjustable speed and torque without mechanical gear changes. The drive is intended for compact control-panel installations where stable motor control is needed without bulky mechanical speed-reduction hardware. It works well in applications that benefit from smooth speed adjustment during routine operation.

Electrical input flexibility is provided by a mains window of 380-480 V AC at either 50 or 60 Hz, allowing the drive to connect directly to common plant supply buses. Under rated conditions, it can deliver an output current of 3.0 A, corresponding to a mechanical load of 1.5 HP on the motor shaft. Control and diagnostics are shown on a built-in SLCP display, and remote setpoint exchange is possible through the Profibus DP fieldbus interface. The electronics sit behind an enclosure with an IP20 rating, so the drive must be mounted inside a cabinet to reduce exposure to dust and accidental contact. The unit does not include an EMC filter, and its standard hardware configuration suits general-purpose indoor process installations.

Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C and at altitudes up to 1000 m while maintaining continuous output. Within that range, the converter can supply up to 1.1 kW of electrical power and tolerate sinusoidal vibration up to 0.7 g. The slim Bookstyle frame saves panel width, and the absence of optional application cards keeps the internal layout straightforward. Coating is omitted, so the drive is better suited to clean indoor cabinets than to corrosive or chemically aggressive locations. Its three-phase topology suits pump, fan, and mixer duties that call for repeatable speed control.
