The 195N1104 variable frequency drive is built by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It is intended for motor control tasks in manufacturing and continuous-flow plants. By producing a variable output frequency from the mains supply, the drive allows precise speed regulation of standard induction motors used in process automation. The device ships without an application option card, making it suitable when only core drive functions are required, and it has no protective coating because it is intended for installation inside an electrical cabinet.

It accepts 380-480 V ±10% 50/60 Hz on a three-phase network, so it can be wired directly to typical industrial feeders without a transformer. The Bookstyle enclosure profile minimizes panel width and allows close side-by-side mounting in high-density cabinet layouts. Because the application class is process control, the drive is suited to pumps, mixers, and similar continuous loads. An integrated braking transistor routes deceleration energy to an external resistor even though no plug-in option board is present. All semiconductor surfaces are left uncoated, so the unit is best suited to a clean, controlled atmosphere.

The unit has an IP20 protection rating, which provides finger-safe openings but no dust-tight or water-tight sealing. Conducted and radiated emissions are limited by the factory-installed RFI filter that meets EN 55011 Class A1, allowing operation on industrial power grids without additional line filtering. The drive is Standard with brake, so an external resistor can be added to complete the braking circuit. Parameters are set through the front-mounted built-in display (SLCP), which shows frequency, current, and fault codes without requiring a remote panel.
