VLT 6000 HVAC Drives

The VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series is a variable frequency drive family purpose-built for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning duties, with application-specific control tuned for fan and pump operation rather than general-purpose use. It spans a wide power range across multiple input classes (3 x 200-240 VAC, 3 x 380-460 VAC, and 3 x 525-600 VAC) and is offered with enclosure options such as IP20, NEMA 1, and IP54, depending on the model. Core functionality includes Automatic Energy Optimization, an integrated PID regulator, sleep mode, flying start, and Automatic Motor Adaptation to help cut energy consumption and maintain stable control in variable-demand HVAC systems. For integration, a standard RS485 interface supports FC, Metasys N2, Landis/Staefa Apogee FLN, and Modbus RTU, with optional communication modules available for Profibus, LonWorks, and DeviceNet. Suited for industrial installations, the series provides programmable digital and analog I/O, relay outputs, provisions to support EMC-compliant installation, and model-dependent mounting options for cabinet installation or wall mounting close to the driven equipment.
