The unit modulates the speed of induction motors used in air-handling units, pumps, and supply fans so building-automation systems can match airflow or pressure setpoints while reducing energy use. By converting constant mains frequency into a variable output frequency, it provides closed-loop control that supports precise thermal management across commercial facilities. This operating method lets connected motors respond smoothly to changing load conditions instead of running continuously at a fixed speed.

The drive accepts 200-240 VAC input and delivers variable voltage that tracks the commanded speed. Its mechanical capacity is 4.0 kW / 5.0 HP, allowing operation of medium-sized HVAC blowers without derating. A Compact NEMA 1 enclosure permits wall or panel installation inside electrical rooms where only basic enclosure protection is required. The drive has no application options, so additional I/O boards are not part of this configuration.
