The 175Z7004 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. Supplied in a narrow book-style frame, it regulates motor speed so that fans, pumps, and air-handling units in building automation systems can track real-time demand rather than running at fixed frequency. By trimming motor speed through pulse-width modulation, the drive helps reduce energy consumption, lower duct noise, and limit mechanical shock to valves and dampers during startup and stopping operations. In variable-air-volume systems, this type of control can also reduce abrupt changes that would otherwise place extra stress on belts, bearings, and duct components.

The drive operates from a three-phase input of 380-460 VAC, matching common low-voltage distribution in commercial facilities. Its power section is rated for 1.1 kW / 1.5 hp, which provides suitable capacity for small supply or exhaust fans serving individual zones.
