The power stage and control section are supplied as standard hardware, so the unit matches the baseline product build rather than a customized version. Communication is limited to hard-wired I/O because there are no fieldbus options, which affects how the drive connects to a supervisory controller. Remote status and command signals therefore use the terminal strip instead of a communications card. Electromagnetic compliance must be handled at the cabinet level because the drive is shipped without an RFI filter, so an external filter can be selected for site-specific EMC requirements. This arrangement suits installations that rely on discrete control wiring and do not need a network option inside the drive itself.
