The 175Z7025 is an AC drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It is intended for supply and return air fans, pumps, and other load profiles common in building climate systems, where accurate speed adjustment helps maintain airflow and pressure with lower energy use. Installed upstream of a three-phase induction motor, the unit converts facility mains power into a variable-frequency output, allowing motor speed to match real-time demand. This makes the drive suitable for variable-torque applications where full motor speed is not required at all times.

This model supports a motor output of 3.0 kW / 4.0 HP, matching small to medium HVAC actuators without oversizing the inverter. It accepts an input line of 380-460 VAC, so it integrates into standard 400 V plant distribution networks. The enclosure has a compact IP 20 rating, which offers finger-safe protection for switchboard mounting while remaining slim enough for crowded panels. For conducted emissions control, a built-in Class A1 and B filter attenuates high-frequency noise and helps the installation meet common commercial EMC limits. Local parameter changes are made with a detachable LCP keypad, which gives door-mounted access to speed reference, fault logs, and setup menus without external tools.

The drive is optimized for HVAC duty cycles and ships as a Standard unit. Because the printed circuit boards have no protective coating, the device is intended for clean electrical rooms rather than corrosive or condensing atmospheres. Both the dedicated application slot and the fieldbus port are delivered with no installed options, so the unit suits standalone installations that rely on hardwired I/O instead of networked control. Its application macro sets acceleration ramps and auto-restart behavior for common fan and pump operation.
