It is used in building automation systems to adjust the speed of centrifugal fans and pumps so airflow or water flow can match real-time thermal demand while reducing energy use and mechanical wear. By generating a variable output frequency from a constant mains supply, the unit supports demand-based ventilation and pressure control without requiring replacement of existing induction motors.

It accepts line supplies between 380-460 VAC and delivers up to 4.0 kW/5.0 HP to the connected motor under nominal conditions. The drive ships as a standard unit, so its cooling ducts, IGBT ratings, and protection circuits follow the baseline product configuration. Its compact IP20 housing fits shallow motor-control centers while maintaining finger-safe protection.
