The 175Z7286 adjustable-speed controller is produced by Danfoss within the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. This AC drive varies the output frequency supplied to centrifugal fans, pumps, and similar loads in industrial and commercial air-handling installations. By adjusting motor speed to match real-time thermal demand, it helps reduce energy use while maintaining target pressure and temperature in building systems. Because the motor does not need to run continuously at full speed, the drive also supports smoother response during changing ventilation and pumping demand. Its footprint is suitable for mounting in compact service panels that support automation hardware.

The drive accepts a three-phase input of 380-460 VAC, and it provides a variable output for motors rated at 7.5 kW / 10 HP. A Compact NEMA 1 housing allows installation in clean indoor locations while providing finger-safe protection for routine use. The integrated Local Control Panel supports parameter entry, status viewing, and manual start and stop functions directly at the unit. To limit conducted emissions, a factory-installed Class A1 filter is fitted on the input side. The control setup uses the Graham application profile, which is intended for HVAC airflow control without relying on extra plug-in option hardware.

No extra surface treatment is applied, so the power board has no conformal coating and is best suited for equipment rooms free from corrosive vapors. Communication expansion is not included because there is no fieldbus option, so speed references and control signals use the built-in analog and relay terminals. The hardware build is the standard unit, which keeps the configuration straightforward for installations based on the same platform. This arrangement leaves control connections on the base drive and suits panels where compact size, direct keypad access, and input-side filtering are the main requirements.
