The 175Z7029 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and assigned to the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. Intended for fans, pumps, and chillers in commercial buildings, the unit converts fixed mains power to a controllable three-phase output so motor speed can follow real-time demand while reducing energy waste. This helps air-moving and fluid-handling equipment respond more closely to changing building loads instead of operating at full speed continuously. Its compact construction allows straightforward panel integration, and the built-in control panel allows local parameter adjustment without external programming hardware.

Electrical capacity is provided by a continuous output of 11 kW / 15 HP, which suits medium-sized air-handling equipment. The input section accepts 380-460 VAC three-phase supplies, so the drive can share standard industrial power feeds without an autotransformer. The unit uses a compact IP20 enclosure that protects live parts against accidental finger contact and supports cabinet mounting in clean electrical rooms. Operators interact through an LCP keypad, which displays status codes and allows direct setpoint entry. To comply with EMC requirements, a factory-installed Class A1 and B filter attenuates conducted radio-frequency noise on both motor and mains leads, eliminating the need for external suppression components.

The drive uses an HVAC-oriented setup, so its default parameter groups are arranged for fan and pump applications rather than generic motor control. It is supplied as a standard unit with no extra I/O or sensor boards preinstalled. The circuit boards have no protective coating, so the unit should be installed in a dry, filtered electrical enclosure. Both the application and fieldbus expansion slots have no option cards, leaving space for future BACnet or LonWorks communication cards if network integration is needed.
