The 175Z7355 is an AC drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It is intended for fan, pump, and compressor duties in building automation, where variable motor speed reduces energy use and allows precise airflow or water flow control. By regulating the frequency supplied to three-phase induction motors, the unit integrates into mechanical rooms or control panels used in commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

The drive accepts a three-phase input of 380-460 VAC, which gives it latitude for most common supply systems. Its output capacity is rated at 30/40 kW (HP), so it can support medium-size air handlers or booster pumps without derating. Installation is aided by the Compact NEMA 1 enclosure, which provides basic finger-safe protection for indoor mounting. Control wiring is supported through the built-in relay card with 4 relays, and these Form C contacts can be used for status signaling or external interlocks. For local operation, the front door includes an LCP (Local Control Panel) display that provides parameter access and manual start and stop functions.

The drive is supplied as a standard unit, with no customized heat-sinking. The electronics have no coating, so the board surfaces remain open and the unit should be placed in clean, noncondensing environments. It ships without a filter for RFI suppression, allowing external EMC components to be added only where they are required. Drive networking is optional, and this model is supplied with no options in the fieldbus slot, so the internal terminal strip and relay outputs serve as the primary control interfaces. The application tag “Graham” in the order code ties the unit to a specific project designation.
