As an HVAC drive, it regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors that move air or water through building systems, letting automation controllers match flow to real-time demand and reduce energy use. By varying output frequency, the drive allows fans and pumps to ramp more smoothly than constant-speed operation. It is typically integrated into air-handling units, pumps, and cooling towers where precise fan or pump modulation is required.

This controller delivers a power capability of 55 kW / 75 HP while accepting line supplies between 380-460 VAC. Its housing is a Compact NEMA 1 enclosure, so it can be panel-mounted in conditioned electrical rooms without extra protective sealing. This enclosure style helps protect internal components from incidental contact while keeping the package compact for building service rooms. Operators interact with the drive through the factory-installed local control panel (LCP), which provides parameter access, operating values, and diagnostic readouts.
