The 175Z7367 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss and part of the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It is supplied for air-handling units, chillers, and pump sets where adjusting motor speed reduces energy use and stabilizes airflow or water flow. In building automation systems, the drive receives run commands from controllers and modulates three-phase induction motors accordingly, helping maintain temperature and pressure targets while reducing mechanical stress on connected equipment. This type of control is also used to soften starting and stopping behavior, which can reduce belt shock in air handlers and limit pressure swings in pumping circuits.

The drive accommodates a three-phase supply in the 380-460 VAC range, so it can be wired directly to typical industrial or commercial mains without an external autotransformer. Its output capacity is 18.5 kW / 25 HP, which provides enough torque for midsize fan wheels or centrifugal pumps. Installation space is minimized by the Compact NEMA 1 enclosure, which also provides a degree of finger-safe protection when mounted inside a mechanical room. Parameter adjustment and local start-stop control are handled through an LCP (Local Control Panel), and the panel also allows basic status review without a separate interface device. Because this is a standard unit, its power components, gate drivers, and cooling paths follow the baseline Danfoss design.

The logic boards have no coating, so the cabinet environment should remain free of corrosive vapors. The model is supplied without a filter, so additional input filtering may be needed where EMC requirements are strict. Building network integration is not native because the drive has no fieldbus option, leaving the communication slot available for a later card. The drive uses the Graham application profile, so its control functions follow the standard HVAC macro set rather than custom software blocks.
