The 175Z7060 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It regulates the speed of fan and pump motors used in air-handling systems, chillers, and cooling towers so airflow or water circulation can follow changing building demand. By varying motor speed instead of operating at full output all the time, the drive helps reduce energy use and mechanical wear in HVAC equipment. It also supports smoother acceleration and deceleration, which can lessen stress on belts, couplings, and connected piping during normal operation.

The drive operates on a three-phase input of 380-460 VAC, which matches common commercial power systems. At that supply level, it can provide up to 45 kW/60 HP for medium-sized motor loads in fans, pumps, and similar HVAC machinery. Protection is provided by a compact IP 54 housing, which helps keep out dust and water splashes in mechanical-room installations. A detachable local control panel (LCP) gives direct access to operating values and parameter changes, while a Class A1 and B filter reduces conducted electrical interference on connected lines. This combination supports dependable installation in building systems where clean power and accessible control are important.

This model is arranged for HVAC service, so its control structure suits common fan and pump duties such as pressure or temperature regulation. The electronics have no coating, making the unit best suited for clean indoor locations where corrosive vapors are not present. Internally, it uses the standard unit build for this platform, which keeps the hardware configuration straightforward. This version has no fieldbus option, so external commands are handled through the terminal strip with conventional start/stop wiring and analog speed references.
