The 175Z7050 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. As a dedicated HVAC drive, it regulates fan and pump motors so airflow, pressure, or temperature loops in building automation stay near their target values with lower energy use. The unit fits into control panels through a compact form factor and allows local setup through the removable keypad. This arrangement makes routine parameter changes possible without extra handheld tools. Variable-speed control also helps reduce abrupt starts and unnecessary full-speed operation during part-load conditions.

Its Compact IP 54 enclosure allows direct wall mounting in plant rooms without a separate cabinet, while internal gasketing helps block dust and water spray. The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 380-460 VAC, which matches common building distribution systems. It can deliver 3.0 kW/4.0 HP of continuous output for small air-handling units or booster pumps. An integrated Class A1 and B filter helps reduce conducted emissions, and the included LCP (Local Control Panel) provides tactile keys and a backlit numeric display for status viewing and parameter editing. That enclosure style can also reduce the need for additional cabinet space in mechanical rooms.

Beyond the core ratings, the drive ships as a standard unit, meaning the control and power stages are installed at the factory. The application terminal block remains in its default form, which preserves the basic wiring arrangement for standard HVAC control signals. The communication bay is left open for future plug-in modules if network integration is needed later. For boards and heat sinks, the conformal coating entry is no coating, so the sealed housing should remain intact to limit airborne moisture exposure inside the drive. This arrangement suits installations where the enclosure provides the main barrier against airborne contaminants.
