The 175Z7441 is a variable-speed AC drive built by Danfoss for the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It is classified as an HVAC drive, so its primary role is to regulate fan and pump motors in building automation systems while reducing electrical use and mechanical wear. By adjusting output frequency and voltage to match load demand, the unit helps air-handling and water-circulation equipment run more smoothly during changing operating conditions. This also allows motors to run at reduced speed during part-load periods instead of operating at full speed with dampers or throttling valves.

This model ships with an integrated LCP, giving on-panel parameter access and start-stop control without a separate keypad. The front interface also allows operating values and status information to be viewed directly on the drive. A Compact IP54 enclosure protects the electronics from dust and splashed water, allowing wall mounting in protected mechanical rooms. The drive delivers 5.5 kW of continuous motor power, which corresponds to 7.5 HP for midsize supply or return fans. It accepts three-phase input from 380-460 VAC networks used in many commercial installations. Conducted emissions are reduced by the built-in Class A1 and B filter, which helps limit interference on connected power lines.

Factory settings follow the Graham profile for common air-movement tasks, yet ramps and PID values can still be adjusted through the menu tree. The absence of conformal varnish means the boards should remain below the condensation point during operation, and the cooling channels support normal heat removal inside the enclosure. Protective functions such as motor phase loss, overtemperature, and DC link monitoring are active from power-up. These protections help the drive react to abnormal operating conditions during normal HVAC duty without adding unnecessary complexity to the basic installation.
