The 175Z7369 is an AC drive module from Danfoss in the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It is used to regulate fan and pump motors in building automation systems, allowing air or water flow to track changing demand and reduce electrical consumption. The drive accepts a rated mains supply of 380-460 VAC, which suits common commercial three-phase distribution systems. Its output rating of 30 kW / 40 HP supports medium-size motors often used on air handlers, chillers, and pumping equipment. The unit is housed in a compact NEMA 1 enclosure intended for indoor installation where basic protection against incidental contact and falling dirt is needed. Variable-speed operation also helps reduce abrupt motor starts in systems that run continuously for long periods.
Parameter entry and manual run commands are handled through an LCP (Local Control Panel) on the front of the drive, so basic setup can be done directly at the unit. The electromagnetic suppression stage is supplied without a filter, so an external RFI filter may be needed when local EMC requirements are stricter than the installed wiring arrangement can satisfy. Front-panel access also makes it easier to review operating status without adding separate interface hardware. This arrangement fits indoor HVAC control panels where direct access to settings and operating feedback is often preferred.
The electronics are provided as a standard unit, so the drive uses the baseline power stack and control board arrangement for this product line. Its target duty is marked Graham, which identifies the assigned application profile. The circuit boards have no coating, so the unit should be installed in clean, dry spaces rather than areas with corrosive vapors or persistent moisture. Fieldbus and auxiliary I/O expansions are supplied with no options, so network connectivity or extra interface functions must be added outside the base drive if a building management system requires them. This placement helps protect the uncoated electronics from airborne contaminants that can shorten service life.
