MS2M Ultra Compact Motors

The MS2M Ultra Compact Motors are maintenance-free synchronous servomotors for industrial machinery, available in three frame sizes and delivering up to 1000 W of continuous mechanical output. Engineered for exceptional power density in a very short overall length, they use reduced flange dimensions to simplify installation in space-constrained machine designs. A self-cooling construction and an IP65 protection rating enable robust performance in demanding environments. Units can be supplied with or without an electrically released 24 V DC holding brake. Position feedback is handled by an optical absolute encoder; singleturn operation is standard, while multiturn capability is enabled via an external battery box accessory. The MS2M Ultra Compact Motors also feature compact M17 connections for both power and encoder interfaces and are offered with winding variants tailored for operation with compatible 3 x AC 230 V drive systems.
