The MS2M02-B0FNN-KMDH0 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. It is intended to pair with a drive controller and provide the controlled motion and feedback needed for positioning, speed-regulated operation, and other demanding industrial tasks. Its short overall form is well suited to machine sections where adjacent axes, couplings, and cable runs must fit into limited space.

An integrated 23-bit optical encoder can operate in single-turn or multi-turn mode and supplies high-resolution feedback to the drive. Heat is removed by natural convection, so no external blower or liquid circuit is required. The housing has an IP65 rating, which helps protect internal parts from dust and low-pressure water jets. Power and feedback lines connect through an M17 Quick Lock SPEEDCON connector for secure engagement, and the winding supports a synchronous speed of 3000 rpm. Frame size 2 and frame length B keep the motor compact, while dedicated double metal-sheathed leads separate signal and power conductors to reduce electrical noise. The shaft is plain and does not use a sealing ring, which helps keep the radial envelope small.

The encoder electronics require 4.75 to 5.25 V, which matches the low-voltage supply range used by many compatible feedback interfaces. Continuous operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C, making the motor suitable for typical cabinet and open-machine conditions. A rotor with low motor inertia supports quick acceleration and deceleration, and acoustic emission stays at or below 65 dB(A) at nominal load. This combination supports responsive motion in compact axes where excess rotating mass can reduce dynamic performance. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so any load that must remain fixed at standstill needs external holding force.
