The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MS2M02-A0FNN-KMDH1 is an ultra-compact servo motor from the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. Designed for space-critical automation lines, it converts electrical power into controlled torque for light pick-and-place arms, electronic assembly tables, and miniature linear slides. Low rotor inertia supports quick acceleration and deceleration, helping the drive maintain precise motion on short travel axes. This format is useful in indexing units and small handling systems where rapid starts and stops occur throughout each machine cycle. The motor is intended for applications that need accurate positioning without the footprint of a larger frame.

A bolt circle diameter of 45 mm aligns the motor flange with miniature gearheads, while the 38 mm flange is drilled for an M3 shaft mounting hole. The motor has frame length A and frame size 2, and it delivers a peak torque of 0.48 Nm through a low-inertia rotor. An electrically released holding brake operates at 24 V DC to secure the axis during shutdown, which is useful on vertical or suspended loads. Position is recorded by a 23-bit optical encoder that supports single-turn or multi-turn operation. Heat leaves the housing by natural convection, and the enclosure meets IP65. Even with the brake installed, the motor weighs only 0.78 kg, which helps reduce the load on compact machine structures.

Electrical connectivity uses M17 quick-lock SPEEDCON connectors together with a double metal leadwire cable. The feedback electronics operate from a logic supply of 4.75 to 5.25 V. The plain shaft is shipped without a sealing ring, and its diameter is 8 mm with an exposed length of 22 mm; a 30 mm spigot supports coaxial alignment. Quick-lock connectors help secure power and feedback links in tightly packed machine sections. Acoustic emissions remain below 65 dB(A), and the winding supports a nominal speed of 3000 rpm at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C. Reliable operation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level.
