The MS2M02-B0FNN-KMDH1 is an ultra-compact servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. Designed for tightly integrated axes in pick-and-place stations, packaging lines, and small gantries, the unit converts drive controller current into rotary motion while occupying very little installation space. Its low-inertia rotor supports fast acceleration on short travel axes and other compact motion stages. The motor is suited for precise positioning tasks in machinery where available mounting space is limited.

Mechanical and electrical details affect how the motor is installed and controlled. A bolt circle diameter of 45 mm sets the spacing for the four M3 fixing screws, aligning the stator face to miniature gearboxes or direct-drive flanges. The electrically released brake operates from a control supply of 24 V DC, allowing the axis to lock when power is removed from the main inverter. Under peak demand, the rotor can deliver up to 0.95 Nm of torque, giving the drive headroom for brief overloads during indexing moves. The housing carries a protection rating of IP65, so internal components remain isolated from dust and low-pressure water jets common on production floors. Additional physical characteristics influence responsiveness and integration. At standstill, the motor can hold loads with 0.32 Nm of continuous torque without exceeding thermal limits. The plain output shaft measures 8 mm in diameter and extends 22 mm, providing a direct fit to miniature couplings without a sealing ring that would add drag. With a total mass of only 0.91 kg, the unit places little dynamic load on compact linear slides, and its low inertia complements the nominal winding speed of 3000 rpm to support fast start-stop cycles with moderate current demand. This combination helps the motor fit small moving assemblies where low mass and quick response are important.
