The MS2M02-A0FNN-KMDH0 belongs to the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As an ultra-compact rotary actuator, it fits tight machine layouts where fast positioning and limited mass are critical. The motor supplies closed-loop motion to pick-and-place arms, indexing tables, and miniature transport axes in industrial automation.

The windings are energized from a three-phase input of 3x AC 230 V, and the coil design supports a base speed of 3000 rpm. During peak demand, the rotor can deliver up to 0.48 Nm of torque, while its standstill capability is 0.16 Nm. An IP65 housing shields internal components from dust and water jets, and natural convection handles thermal exchange without external fans. The low-inertia rotor sits on a 45 mm bolt circle behind a 38 mm flange and 30 mm spigot, so mounting plates can keep mass close to the axis. Position data come from a 23-bit optical encoder that operates in either single-turn or multi-turn mode using the 4.75 to 5.25 V logic supply. Because the unit is supplied without a holding brake, drive torque or external clamps must secure loads at power-off.
