The 134F3015 is an AC variable-frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. Deployed between a three-phase supply and an induction motor, it adjusts output frequency and voltage to regulate speed in conveyor lines, pump skids, and similar industrial automation systems. This arrangement lets the drive match motor output to process demand instead of running the motor continuously at full speed. The unit is intended for variable-speed applications that require steady control and compact cabinet installation.

This model delivers a mechanical output of 5.5 HP, which corresponds to a continuous electrical rating of 4.0 kW. It accepts a three-phase mains supply of 380-480 VAC, matching common low-voltage plant networks without an autotransformer. Regenerated energy during rapid deceleration is handled by an integrated brake chopper. The enclosure is rated IP20 / Chassis, so it is intended for protected cabinet mounting with convection cooling. Load sharing is available through the mains option, allowing multiple inverters to balance DC-bus energy during parallel operation, and standard cable entries are provided under Adaptation A.

Electromagnetic compliance is supported by a built-in filter rated as RFI Class A2, which helps limit conducted emissions on public low-voltage grids. Communication with higher-level PLCs is handled through a control card with PROFINET, so the drive can exchange commands and status data without an external gateway. The power section is set for high-overload duty, allowing short-term current peaks during startup or transient torque demand. Reliability is supported by a coated PCB that helps protect circuitry from moisture and airborne contaminants. The unit ships without a display, so operation relies on a remote keypad or fieldbus control, and it includes the standard language pack.
