The 134F2971 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. In automated equipment, it adjusts the speed of three-phase induction motors so conveyors, pumps, and fans can match process demand more closely. This helps reduce unnecessary power draw during partial-load operation and supports smoother control of routine machine functions. Its compact chassis is intended for smaller machines and fits cabinet-mounted installations where space is limited. It is commonly used where straightforward speed regulation is needed without the larger footprint of higher-power drives.

The drive operates from a three-phase supply of 380-480 VAC and can deliver up to 0.75 HP of shaft power, which corresponds to 0.55 kW. Its high-overload rating allows temporary current surges during startup or other short high-demand events. This is useful when the motor must accelerate a load with higher inertia from a standstill. Electromagnetic compatibility on public power networks is supported by the built-in RFI Class A2 filter, while a coated PCB helps protect the electronics from moisture and airborne contaminants. The chassis has IP20 protection against accidental contact and relies on cabinet airflow for cooling.

Wiring passes through standard cable entries, which keeps cable routing simple for cabinet installation. The unit has no Adaptation B or B-option hardware, which keeps the configuration straightforward.
