The 134F2970 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 360 Automation Drives series. It regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors used in automated machinery, conveyors, and process lines. By varying output frequency, it matches motor torque to changing load requirements and supports controlled motor operation across a range of industrial tasks. The drive converts fixed mains input into adjustable motor output for applications that need smooth acceleration, stable speed control, and repeatable process behavior.

In this frame size, the drive has a power rating of 0.37 kW, which corresponds to 0.50 HP of mechanical output when paired with a motor. It accepts a 380-480 VAC three-phase supply and includes an internal brake chopper to handle regenerated energy during rapid stops. The enclosure is rated IP20 / Chassis, so the unit is intended for installation inside a control panel. Panel mounting helps keep live parts enclosed and supports protected routing for power and control wiring. Adaptation A uses standard cable entries, while the unit comes without Adaptation B or a B Option. The drive is supplied with a standard control card, and it comes without a display or blind cover.

The mains terminals also support Loadsharing, allowing multiple FC 360 drives to exchange DC-link energy during acceleration and braking. This is useful in systems with frequent deceleration or coordinated motion, where regenerated energy can be shared across connected units instead of being managed by one drive alone.
