By rectifying and inverting the incoming line supply, it delivers a regulated variable-frequency output that lets users adjust motor speed, torque, and process flow without mechanical throttling. This operating method allows the connected motor to match process demand more closely than fixed-speed operation. The unit is intended for conveyors, pumps, and fan systems where consistent speed control, energy savings, and reduced mechanical wear are required in automated production cells.

The drive accepts an input of 3 x 380/400/415 V (±10%) and operates from industrial power systems at 50/60 Hz. At the output side, it can deliver up to 1.1 kW of mechanical power with a continuous phase current of 2.8 A. This rating indicates the motor size that can be paired without derating. The apparent power drawn from the supply is 2.0 kVA, which is useful when sizing contactors and power distribution. Shielded motor leads may run up to 150 m, while unshielded runs can reach 300 m, giving more flexibility in drive-to-motor placement. These cable lengths help limit dV/dt at the motor terminals and support reliable EMC performance during operation.

For transient demands, the inverter can withstand an overload of 3.1 A for 60 s, granting extra starting torque without requiring a larger frame. During full-load operation, it dissipates only 60 W as heat, which simplifies enclosure ventilation and reduces thermal buildup inside the panel. The maximum ambient temperature at full current is 40 °C; above this point, output must be derated or external cooling must be provided. Upstream protection is handled with a 16 A pre-fuse that limits short-circuit energy and fulfills local wiring codes. Proper enclosure airflow helps the drive maintain stable operation under sustained load.
