The 175H1263 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. By converting fixed mains power into a modulated three-phase output, it regulates the speed of induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, and fan assemblies throughout automated plants. The design of this controller supports 380 to 415 V motors and offers parameter adjustment for process optimization. This type of drive is used where motor speed must follow changing process demand instead of remaining fixed at line frequency.

In continuous-duty configuration, the drive draws a maximum input current of 55.6 A at the rated supply of 3 x 380/400/415 VAC (±10 %). Its power stage delivers a rated output current of 61 A and can withstand an overload of 97.6 A for 60 s, allowing short production surges without tripping. Typical apparent power at this rating is 44 kVA. Efficiency at full load reaches 0.96, so only 4% of the incoming energy is lost as heat. The inverter synthesizes output frequencies from zero up to 500 Hz, while preset tables cover motor base frequencies of 50, 60, 87, or 100 Hz. A supply frequency window of 50/60 Hz enables operation on either European or North American mains. Protection coordination is supported with a recommended upstream fuse size of 100 A.

The unit maintains full current capability up to an ambient temperature of 45 °C; above this point it derates to preserve component life. Motor terminals accept conductors up to 35 mm², which helps reduce voltage drop on long runs. The extended high-speed mode can be enabled, or operation can be limited to the selected motor base frequency, while the control loop keeps stator voltage aligned with the nominal 380/400/415 V motor rating. This allows the same drive platform to support both standard-speed and higher-speed motor operation within the same supply class. Mechanical output is calibrated for a continuous shaft power of 30 kW, supporting medium-size centrifugal loads.
