The 175H1152 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. It converts three-phase 380/400/415 V AC mains power into a controlled output that allows an induction motor to run at the speed and torque required by the process. By supplying adjustable voltage and frequency, the unit supports common automation duties such as pump, fan, and conveyor control where stable motor regulation is important. This operating method can also reduce mechanical stress during speed changes and help the connected machine respond more smoothly to changing load conditions.

For constant-torque duty, the inverter delivers a continuous output current of 10.0 A, while variable-torque applications can draw up to 13.0 A without derating. These current ratings correspond to apparent powers of 7.2 kVA for constant-torque operation and 9.3 kVA for variable-torque operation, giving clear sizing data for upstream protection and motor matching. When operated at full load, the drive reaches an efficiency of 0.96, so only a small share of input energy is lost as heat. It also accepts standard utility supplies at 50/60 Hz with a line voltage tolerance of plus or minus 10 percent, which helps it fit facilities that use different mains standards.

The drive can produce a maximum output frequency of 500 Hz, which supports applications that require extended motor speed range. Installation flexibility is improved by a permitted motor cable length of 300 m, making the unit easier to place in larger machine layouts. Upstream protection uses a 25 A pre-fuse to coordinate with the drive's power section and the facility supply. Under variable-torque operating conditions, the connected motor can receive up to 5.5 kW of shaft power. The drive is also intended for switching rates of no more than two starts per minute, which helps limit stress on internal power components during repeated cycling.
